Who remembers those cool two weeks during the summer where I had no idea what I was doing with this blog? No one? Okay, well I do.
I had no idea where I was going with this blog, all I knew was that I loved reading blogs and I wanted to have a place to share my stories--whatever they were, just like my favorite bloggers.
So, along the way, I knew that I liked to share what I was up to, my different stories and what interest me, and finally, music.
I created the tab all things Music to list an archive of music-related posts and had Fridays as my music Fridays where I would post about all about music--whether it be a new band I discovered, a playlist, or at a concert. (keyword: had)
There is just so much to talk about with music, I decided to start a new blog--Music & Musings.
This new music blog of mine is dedicated to music, a little bit of an extended version of all things Music.
all things Music will still be here as a tab and I'll post updates on what I've posted on Music & Musings so you can all ch-ch-check it out!

Drumroll, please!
1. We've gone through a name change!
2. Tabs have been created!
3. I need to buy more Polaroids!
Starting with the obvious, the name change. I've let the name go for a couple of days now, but today, we officially say goodbye to my blog's former name, the write side. It's been a good 7 month run, but I've gotta go my own way. After ideas and ideas of new names, I was able to choose just one that I really liked! I went through so many names, I felt like I was in a high school rock band that changed their name every week. When I first decided on the write side. I really just wanted a play on words with the word "write" because I love writing and hopefully, I could find a way to incorporate it with my blog. Aside from writing posts in a blog, I wasn't getting the "writing" I was intending for, especially with the name. I, personally, felt like I wasn't living up to the name which made me unsatisfied with the blog itself. Finding the right direction for the blog was definitely difficult and maybe I'm still figuring it out, so I came up with a name that gave me free-range for anything. Thus, all things Cass was born! Anything and everything I write about are genuinely things I want to share and you may not agree or like it and that's completely okay.

Secondly, if you're viewing this on a desktop or tablet, I've got tabs on the top!! (Just below the banner) I knew there were a couple of things I wanted to change with the blog (the name, the layout, the purpose, etc), but there were two things I absolutely did NOT want to change. Those two things were my music posts and my stories. Maybe with just a little twerking
---I mean, TWEAKING--I could somehow upgrade those posts. "all things Music" will bring you straight to an archive of my posts that has anything music related. "all things Stories" consists of my posts that are just (true) personal stories or other things I want to share. Not to mention, I've got all forms of social media on the left: Twitta, Insta, Bloglovin'--the whole sha-bang! Follow me to see my latest Tweet, picture on Instagram, and get that bloggy-blog feed on Bloglovin'! Designing everything did take some work, but it was really cool to learn the ropes of editing programs and web-design. It all kind of reminded me of the good 'ol MySpace days when designing your page was everything. (less than sign img src and &heartssemicolon, anyone?) All of my research and time taken to really think about this blog helped me approach everything in a non-stressful and all around, FUN way! It's all about growth and experience, so I'm still new to all of this. Thank you to all of my favorite bloggers for inspiring me to treat my blog with lots of luvv:

All Things Bloglovin'
I can't begin to explain how much I love Bloglovin'! It brings me all of my favorite blogs into one place. It works just like a regular social media feed where you just scroll and scroll through information for hours. You can like things, mark them as read/unread, or share it. Also, you don't have to own a blog in order to have it. It's almost like subscribing to a bunch of magazines (but in this case, blogs). So ch-ch-ch-check it out!

Things are still "going" and I'm working on some things, so bear with me!
I'm hoping by the end of this week, this will all be good to go with maybe just a few kinks to smooth out :)!

I've said it before and I'll say it again...I am a total n00b at blogging.
Blogging is no joke. Props to those who are major bloggers because sometimes, it's really hard for me to keep up with this. My journal and I have this same kind of relationship.
I started this little ditty back in January and hardly posted anything, but once the semester ended, I tried to adapt to the Blogger Lyfe.
And...it's kinda hard.
I mean it's really fun, don't get me wrong! But, I'm so new to this that I'm constantly researching and picking up tips from other bloggers.
I really like blogging, especially when I know what I'm going to blog about.
So, that's the thing.
Here's the thing...I'm still trying to figure out what my whole purpose with this blog is.
Fashion blog? Definitely not. Food blog? I wish. DIY blog? Probs not.
Lifestyle blog? I think so...? Yeah? Or...no? Huh?
Well, after reading this blog- I realized that I am very much so, a lifestyle blogger.
I blog about my life, things I like, things I don't like, just whatever comes to mind. (And if you really follow this, then you know Friday posts are all about music).
That's what I love about blogging, I write whatever comes to mind. And I try to think of things that others can kind of relate to.
But, right now...I'm so so stuck.
My mind is kinda all over the place about what to do with this blog of mine.
From the name to the layout to my posts, I'm doing some major evaluation!
So, for the next few days or even the next week, this blog will be going through a bunch of changes.
Feel free to watch the madness unfold and then fold back into something even better!
