If it was okay to talk in the 3rd person, especially first thing in the morning...I would say, "Cass is nocturnal, please get out."
Because everyone loves to wake me up sooo early in the morning that it is really INHUMANE. A human is trying to sleep! The least you could do is leave a doughnut or say "There are doughnuts."
I've only admitted this to a few people because I know it's probably embarrassing, but...
I've only voluntarily and happily woken up early TWICE this summer.
The first time, it was to go get doughnuts.
And the second...
WUZ BECUZ there WUZ doughnuts!
Seriously. I just rose out of bed like a mummy raising back up from the dead.
I had no idea that when I decided to shack up in my own personal bedroom next to the kitchen that it was part of a silent agreement that I be okay with being woken up at all times of the day, whenever I didn't want to be.
Not cool.
It might be my fault 'cause I like to stay up until the weee hours of the mornin', but there's a reason for that...
Cass is nocturnal.
Also, Cass works better at night.
Also, I'm going to stop referring to myself in third person.
Why I work better at night? Because all of a sudden my mind and imagination work their best at approximately 8 PM to 5 AM.
So what do I do?
The past few nights, I didn't sleep until about 4-5 because I was on such an adrenaline rush of having all these ideas come at me, so I spilled it all and wrote and wrote until I was completely wrung dry for the night and realized how late/early it was.
And I've been having breakfast in the afternoon.
Kinda cool. But, the sucky part about sleeping in is having wasted most of your day and I already feel like I don't have enough time in the day to do anything, so it's crayyzeeeness trying to do all these things.
I've actually been waking up around 11, but I just don't get out of bed until about two hours later because I'm stillll trying to wake up.
