Over the weekend, I celebrated 2 very special birthdays: my sister & one of my greatest friends, Allyson.

My sister and I are the last two kids of my family and let me tell you, we are SUCH kids. Or, at least, we can be. We can be 21 and 25 or 51 and 55 and still be our most silliest and child-like selves. Probably, more so me than sheee (or her) Just like any other pair of sisters, we fight over the most petty things (finishing food, deleting stuff off the DVR we haven't watched, speaking, saying stupid things, posting the picture I wanted to post Instagram (ugh!), not letting the person guess before you say the answer, following to closely, our own presence, etc.). And just like the perception of what it's like having a sister-- we SO borrow each other's clothes! Luckily, my sister is such a fashionista that if I get to borrow clothes, they're always the cutest things. But there is always one special rule, no borrowing anything that hasn't been worn yet by the owner. But that's also, IF, your sister lets you borrow anything at all I didn't get to borrow anything of hers until I was halfway into my high school career! Gosh darn she is getting quite up the hill! But we'll always be 5 & 8 in my eyes :)

One of the most genuine, funniest, and kind-hearted people I know is my friend Allyson. She's always herself right off the bat, making you comfortable within minutes of being around her. Once upon a time, we used to be neighbors and go running around the park in the mornings, and every morning we would get a text with, "OMG I JUST WOKE UP." One of my best summers was spent with her and the rest of our group having pool days (*cue Sebas' sad stories*), game nights (*HUMMDINGERRR!* "Am I ghetto?"), baking nights, movie nights, GNOs, and my faaaaavorite---
From 16-year-old girls to 21-year-old women, I'm so glad to have such a caring person in my life!
My weekend was perfectly spent ringing in this new age of adulthood and the excitement of getting carded!
