For most girls, getting a lil' somethin' somethin' from a little blue box is the best kind of excitement one can get from a box. It's the best thing that has happened to boxes. Heck, Audrey Hepburn even had breakfast there!
For me...the best kind of box happiness I can get comes from a different color box...
A pink box.
Pinkbox doughnuts. 'Nuff said.
Okay, definitely not enough said.
I heard about this place over Twitta and Insta and I was like "Hmm...Okay, okay, I need to try this."
So I did.
Remember the last post I made about me being nocturnal and how it's almost next to impossible to get me to wake up, especially early? And then there was that one time where I only woke up twice voluntarily?
Yeah, Pinkbox was the reason for one of them. But, it was totally worth it!
So that was the first time I tried Pinkbox.
The second time was when I saw them post about the newly-popular doughnut, the CRONUT.
If you don't follow DNN (Doughnut News Network) (Jk there's isn't a DNN) (But maybe there should be), but if you haven't heard of the Cronut, it's basically a croissant doughnut.
So on Facebook, Pinkbox announced that they were now selling their own kind of Cronuts! So, obviously, I had to go over and try!
But obviously, I didn't wake up early enough and came too late that they sold out of them.
But, of course, I wasn't going to leave empty-handed! What kinda girl would they take me for!?
And, of course, I shared :)!
The Strawberry Shortcake was my favorite!
Here are my reasons why I choose the pink box vs. the blue box:
1. Pinkbox is now serving ice cream doughnut sandwhiches!
2. THEY ARE OPEN 24 HOURS ON THE WEEKENDS
(I literally wished a doughnut shop would be open 24 hours when I was hauling derrière before their closing hour; wishes do come true, kids!)
Annnd, 3, they've come up with a new kind of philosophy:
Plus, I can still channel my inner Holly Golightly and have breakfast at my favorite "box" place.
But, would I ever turn down that little, light blue box if it was given to me?
OF COURSE NOT.
