But, this will suffice.
That is just so Raven, iddnnniit?
This was also the picture I used to show what my face looked like after I got my wisdom teeth pulled. Easily one of the worst weeks of my life because I was in so much pain. Let me clarify...the pain was just from not being able to eat anything!
Anywhoooooo.
Since the last time I've been on here, I've got to experience some cool things!
My sister and I became roomies for two weeks. I got a taste of what the broadcast side of journalism would be like, which was really cool because I got to work with all kinds equipment. I got to see my sister graduate from college, and the week after we had a mini family reunion which is always nice!
But the best thing to happen this year was being able to see my favorite band live.
'nuff said.
Okay, maybe not. I've always regretted turning down the opportunity to see them a few years ago because I had to write an essay for school and after seeing them recently, it was probably the stupidest thing to decide not to go the first time. They were absolutely incredible. I've watched their Take Away Shows on La Blogotheque, but nothing compares to seeing them with my own eyes. My Wide Eyes....Ha..Ha..
Hearing them play all of my favorites was so unreal, I could not take it! Neither did my phone...it ran out of space as soon as they started playing "Who Knows Who Cares." Which, might I add, is my all-time favorite...well next to "Airplanes." Oh, and "Ceilings." And "Wide Eyes." The list just goes on really. Nonetheless, they gave such a great performance. It was so great that I forgive the ridiculously tall man standing in front of me. (I'm 5 feet tall, btw, so almost everything is tall to me...but when you're ridiculously tall...you're just ridiculously tall that you're practically three Shaqs to me).
Seeing your favorite band is the best thing ever, you'll really appreciate everything about it.So, if you haven't already, check out Local Natives! They will not disappoint!
But, for the most part, summer has been keeping me real busy! Not too shabby at all!
Until next time... :)
