That's pretty much how to describe the past few days.
School is slowly taking over and I'm desperate to find more "me" time, but I'm so thankful to have spent these last few days with some of my favorite people.
You don't know this but my best friend no longer lives within 5 minutes of me. And it's a bit depressing because I miss the ability to just call her up and go out for therapy Yogurtland session, dropping off some freshly baked goods, or just to flat out hang out without a hassle. So, when I can--I try to make sure I can see her as much as I can! After a long day on Thursday, I hung out with her, her boyfriend, and another mutual friend of ours. I was so tired and so stressed, but I couldn't miss seeing this chick for awhile!
Years ago when three-way phone calls til late at night and taking pictures at the Apple store was cool, a friendship emerged. And we were reunited once again Friday night, under the false pretense that we would be watching a taping of So You Think You Can Dance. We were so wrong. I've missed them. But we're all getting older and doing our own things, so it's always nice when we finally get the chance to hang out. Even if were annoyed that we didn't get to see the show we wanted to. But Giselle and I got Pinkbox later, so how could I not be a happy camper?
2013 is definitely the year of Crystal & Cass. Seriously, I hang out with this chick every week of my life. As cohosts, classmates, and friends--we're together all of the time. If I'm with her, I practically clear the whole entire day because there's not enough hours in the day for us to hangout! Her boyfriend, Ryan, was in town this weekend and they're one of my favorite couples to hangout with. Obviously, being the third-wheel is never fun, but you'll never get that feeling when you're with them. We always have the best conversations and the best times when we're all together. I was originally supposed to go with my sister to California on Saturday, but had to pass because of some schoolwork (surprise, surprise) and was just super bummed going into the day. Plus, I had to wake up at 8 in the morning on a Saturday. After a local discussion/meeting on newspapers, a fun little outing at the Springs Preserves Museum, DIM SUM lunch (You have no idea how excited I was), hours of filming & scripting, some window shopping, ramen dinner at Monta, and ending it with some dessert at Kuma Snow--I was officially worn out. But I had such great company that day that it was incredibly worth it. (Sorry, I didn't take any pictures with them -__-)
Sleeping until 10 this morning was completely deserved, until I only had about an hour to get some work done before I had another chain of events to go today.
But I absolutely had to make time to blog today! So, here's my weekend in a nutshell :)
